At daybreak on September 13, at 10 a.m., we invited everyone to lose themselves in the thread of a story, where words and hands intertwine destinies. Poet Raquel Junqueira Guimarães shared the enchantments of her book O Meio é o Aberto(The Middle Is the Open), a work brought to life by the delicate illustrations of the talented Daniela Galanti, deeply touching those present.
Her poetry, like the gentle interlacing of threads, joined emotions and tales that stirred every soul. During the book talk, each guest chose words from the text and embroidered them by hand as the stories unfolded. Beside Raquel, AsCury—Alessandra, Paula, and Marô—displayed their embroidery, where every stitch was a breath of art, every line a memory transformed into beauty.
Like the threads of the Akai Ito legend, their needlework carried the power to unite and move. In the end, everyone shared their embroidered words—a piece of the morning turned into art and affection. Each person took home this tangible memory of a singular moment, where the fabric of time and destiny was gently unraveled, stitch by stitch, verse by verse.
